Editor's Note
Greetings! Welcome to another issue of SoundCheck. In SoundCheck’s first issue, published in July 2006, we talked about the full-range Panaray® LT 9403 and 6403 loudspeakers. In this issue we will take a closer look at another member of this very powerful family, the Panaray® LT 9702.
Although the Bose® Panaray® LT Loudspeaker was initially designed for applications with long speaker-to-listener distances, challenging room acoustics, demanding SPL requirements and where accurate, tight pattern control and aesthetics are paramount, now this family also offers a comprehensive sound system solution to cater to small to medium sized projects, sites and venues that demand high sound pressure levels. With so many projects like theme parks, Stadiums, and Houses of Worship coming up in our MEA region, these powerful loudspeakers have great potential. This family of products has been the ideal choice for many prestigious projects around the world. One good example is the Rasunda Stadium, a 35,000-seat outdoor arena, home to the Swedish National Soccer Association, which has a Panaray® LT system installed. Lars Richt, the stadium’s manager had this to say "I didn’t think that it would ever be possible to achieve sound like that in an outdoor arena. The speech was crisp and intelligible. I could hear every instrument clearly in the music." Carry on reading and learn more about these great Bose Loudspeakers.
I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome a new member to our MEA region: Spectrum Sound & Light from Jordon. Read more about this vibrant market in issues to come.
