Editor's Note
In 1896, the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in Athens. The 2008 Summer Olympic Games the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, were celebrated in Beijing, in the People's Republic of China, from August 8 to August 24. In this issue of SoundCheck we look at the installation work carried out by the Bose® Greater China team, designing the sound installation for some of the Beijing Olympic venues that hosted the world's greatest athletes.
Also in this issue we provide information on the new Bose ControlSpace® ESP-88 5.1 and 6.1 surround sound expansion card, integrating a function currently not available in multifunction DSP processors.
