The New Bose® ControlSpace® Designer™ Software v2.0 for ControlSpace ESP-88 Systems
The ControlSpace ESP-88 system is a powerful digital signal processor that provides system configuration, control and audio processing in a single, expandable unit. The system integrates easily with popular facility control devices and IT systems, and 
features simple and elegant user interfaces that provide one-touch operation for a variety of system applications.
Bose has recently introduced the new ControlSpace Designer Software v2.0 which includes:
- Automatic microphone mixing: provides gating, priority, and NOM attenuation for sound reinforcement systems using multiple active microphone inputs.
- Expanded serial protocol: Allows the ESP-88 to be more easily integrated in installations requiring audio, video, lighting, and other controls using Crestron, AMX, or other third party devices.
- 5.1 Surround Sound Decoder Input Card: Optional surround sound expansion card which decodes Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1, DTS ES 6.1 Discrete, DTS ES 6.1 Matrix, PCM audio formats, and DVD audio eliminating the need for a commercial grade external decoder and integrating all the required audio processing within the ESP-88.
